My Grandmother’s Death
All living things will die, but we do not know when or
how we will die. That is what happened to my Grandmother when I was a high
school student. In the morning my father called by my uncle, he gave the news
that my grandmother had died. My family
and I immediately went to my uncle’s house. When we arrived to my uncle’s
house, my uncle welcomed us with grief. My grandmother lying on the bed, then I
prayed for her beside the bed. When I looked into her pale face, I remembered
all the memories when I was a kid, I was taken care of by my grandmother when
my parents is not home. We used to live together, but when my grandmother began
to sick badly, she moved to my uncle’s house, because my family were busy. My
tears began to flow, then fell down to the prayer book. When I finished my pray
I decided to go outside to calm myself. In the evening, my grandmother be carried
to the cemetery. We arrived to the shallow ditch, all people were around it to
see the funeral. My father and my uncle took down my grandmother’s body
carefully to be buried. And that was the last time I saw my grandmother’s face
and say good bye forever. Then one by one my grandmother’s kid and grandchild
spread flowers on top of my grandmother’s grave. I always prayed for my
grandmother on the way back, hoped she rest in peace and placed by the god
along with those people with good deeds.
